San Angelo ISD Communications Platform ClassTag to be Renamed SchoolStatus Connect 

San Angelo ISD’s communications platform ClassTag will be undergoing a few changes on February 1, 2024, and we just wanted you to be aware and eliminate any confusion or concern.

On February 1, 2024, ClassTag will be renamed to SchoolStatus Connect. As a result of the rebrand, you may notice new colors and a new logo. We have been assured that these changes should not impact your ability to access the platform just as you always have, and no action will need to be taken by our students, staff, and guardians. 

Users can continue to sign in on the web by visiting www.classtag.com and/or mobile app (now named SchoolStatus Connect) just as before. Upon signing in, you may be redirected to a newly branded sign-in page, but will be able to sign in with the same credentials or single-sign on method as before.

The ClassTag logo on your mobile app may automatically update to a new SchoolStatus logo for some users. Users will not need to install a new app. Instead, users may go to sleep one night with the ClassTag logo on their mobile device, and wake up to the new SchoolStatus logo instead.

Additionally, email, text, and app notifications will be updated to match the new brand. That means that users’ communication notifications will come from SchoolStatus rather than ClassTag.
